Winter time is (sadly) still upon us and the dry air and harsh outdoors can wrack havoc on our nails and skin. If you are the one suffering too here are 2 simple ideas that will help.
- Conditioning oil. The perfect “food” for your nails. It will help the skin AND your nails. The client below here is a perfect example. The nails below are only 2 weeks after my client used Dadi Oil twice a day. That’s it. You can get it from me at $4 a bottle. Yes, seriously, $4. There is a trick though- having it- won’t work. You have to use it 🙂
- Nail repair. If your nails are stubborn and are peeling or have surface damage we offer a service called Mani + IBX magic. IBX Treatment is an oil and repair agent that is applied on the nail, heat is applied (a warm dryer), the treatment soaks in and it’s cured into the nail, not on top of the nail. This is actually revolutionary stuff and you know I’m a skeptic. The manicure AND the IBX is $30 and it takes 30 minutes. It’s supposed to be repeated twice. Once after a week and once after 2 weeks. Then continue with the oil (step 1). PS. Forget the nail hardeners. They actually dry out the nails. Only nails that would benefit from hardeners are thin, bendy but healthy nails
You can book the IBX here
disclaimer: “crusty cuticles” is not the correct term* and I feel a little dirty about using it but it rhymes well and people get it.
*the correct term would be damaged/dry proximal nail fold (or skin around the nails) but that’s too long for a catchy title.
